I tend not to care for either painting or assembly. However, darn few things prepainted keep from making me want to hurl.

Fortunately, I know a few competent either too impoverished to buy new, or interested in out-of-production sitting in my collection, that are willing to paint-and-play.

Assembly can be a stumbling block here, but those with real passion for it also prefer to avoid 'chorus line' units.

PS When I saw 'impoverished', in more than one instance, it's well paid folk who's discretionary funds pour down the GW sinkhole. ;->=

D6 Junkie wonders...

When selling or buying plastic figs, How do you view the value of assembled but unpainted plastic figures?
  • Do you prefer them assembled?
  • Do you prefer them unassembled?
  • Don't care either way?
Personally, when buying or trading, I always prefer the plastic figs to be unassembled. Part of the joy for me is coming up with various poses for the units.
