Ignoring scotch, in our group two of us easily spend $100-200 per month on figures, adventures, paint and supplies, an other two about $50 USD and the rest of the group usually spends nothing. Not sure how you can come up with the mythical average gamer out of that.

show some respect for women wonders... How much does the 'average wargamer' spend on his hobby each month? The 'average wargamer' is a mythical beast who is probably aged 12 to 80, 80-90% male, lives almost anywhere, and plays any wargame you can think of. 'Hobby spending' is defined as any gaming materials of any kind, transportation costs, food, and perhaps even the cost of the facility where he/she games (if he has to pay for it). I don't want to know what you spend. I want to know your impression of what the 'average wargamer' spends.
