I'm looking at it from the point of view of whether the battle itself was important, not how famous. There have been plenty that are fairly trivial skirmishes that are well known, and some of the most important battles are virtually unknown – in this set for example, Tsushima was practically the end of the Tsar, (the 1905 revolution was a precursor to 1917) and the battle that made the rest of the world notice Japan. Tannenberg and Verdun were also important, but arguably, didn't change much historically.
