Actually, I'm pretty happy with my painting room. I traded a neighbor for some shelves and I've completely got it clean and organized but I love it. It's what in theory is my dining room. So, the fridge and coffee maker are a step away as is plenty of fresh air and light coming off the patio.

So we recently had a thread on the perfect gaming room and what we'd put in it. So for the painter/modelers out there, with unlimited room and budget, what would you make sure to have in your painting area?

Not so much thinking obvious stuff like paints or brushes, but the tools of the trade, tricks you've learned, products you swear by, lighting, etc.

For me, a corner work station with directional lighting. Paints arranged in racks in front of me, and plentiful places to set items that are drying while I move on to the next task. A shelf unit nearby with the various pieces awaiting their turn to be painted, and a serious workbench with a quality vice for construction. Of course, bookshelves for the painting references. I'm undecided on a TV or stereo. Most of the time I like some background noise, but I think I work faster/better when I don't.

What would you have? Remember, not all products are easily identifiable by name, so don't forget to tell us what it does.
