POLL DESCRIPTION

We have Projects for fantasy, and Projects for history, but no Projects yet for science fiction. We've debated ideas on the Message Boards, but now it's time to vote - what do you think our first Science Fiction Project should be? (This is a vote for general subject - we may need a further vote to refine the topic.)

Platoon-Level Traditional

Science-fiction battles involving squads of infantry and platoons of vehicles (tanks, hovercraft, aircraft, even anti-grav units). Rules could include Dirtside, Iron Cow, etc.

Victorian Science Fiction

Science fiction set in an "alternate history" (the time of Queen Victoria). Colonial powers meet Martians, go exploring for long lost dinosaurs in Africa, or fight colossal battles using advanced steam technology. Rules could include GASLIGHT, Voyages Extraordinaires, etc.

Urban

Combat set within a futuristic urban environment, usually between police and gangs (or gang vs gang). Rules could include Combat Zone, Necromunda, etc.

Mechs

Gaming which involves large, well-armed and -armored Mechs. Rules could include CAV, BattleTech, etc.

Starships

Battle in space, between starships. Rules could include Full Thrust, StarWar 2250, Silent Death, etc.

Squad-Level Traditional

Tactical science-fiction combat featuring soldiers in battlesuit-type armor. Rules could include VOID, Cobalt, 40K, Stargrunt, Starguard, etc.
