For those of us with a many figures to paint and little time to do it in, the dip method is a godsend. You're not gonna get showpiece models, but you will get solid, presentable results. Now my rank-and-file painting has a simple formula: Primer+basecoat+Minwax=finished!

I was reading about how this "Dip Method" was pretty good, so I decided to give it a try.

I bought some Army Painter dip, block painted some minis, and gave it a shot.

Let's just say I was none too happy with the result.

So I tried again, same results.

I went and bought some of the Minwax, and... well... same results.

I went as far as making some "Magic Wash," which was better, but still, I was none too happy.

Which got me thinking...

How many of you "DIP"?
