rmaker, I think you will find the vast majority of 'ancients' rules cover up to quite late medieval periods before gunpowder technology dominates the battlefield. Perfectly acceptable to refer to Agincourt and Chalons in this context, as no one has specified, Classical, Late Classic, Early/High Medieval or any other distinction. The most dominant ancients rules in use over the last 40 years by WRG covered 3000 – 1500 CE.
