Ahem…
"A poor old man came riding by
And we say so, and we hope so

A poor old man came riding by
Poor old horse

We said old man your horse will die
And we say so, and we hope so

We said old man your horse will die
Poor old horse

And if he dies we'll tan his hide
And we say so, and we hope so

And if he lives, it's him we'll ride
Poor old horse

And after years of such abuse
And we say so, and we hope so

We'll salt him down for sailor's use
Poor old horse"

A lovely work song to get you started beating your Dead Horse this morning.

Carry on, then.

POLL DESCRIPTION

Personal logo John the OFM Supporting Member of TMP muses...

I am referring, of course, to the veritable plethora of "stifle" poll suggestions this morning. (Well, it's morning in Pennsylvania...)

How many times do we have to have polls on the same topics? Is once every six weeks too often? Is once every six months too far apart?

Do we keep suggesting them "until we get it right," and then all further discussion is forbidden?

Is this like Al Gore and the Florida recount? (Topic is more than ten years old, so is not "politics or current events". Statute of Limitations on Blyue Fezzy...)

I can just see the Dawghouse four months from now... John the OFM: 6 days. Beating a dead horse. [link]
