Under the requirement that polls to change TMP rules require a true majority, this proposal fails.

POLL DESCRIPTION

Rod I Robertson Supporting Member of TMP Inactive Member writes:

I propose far longer sentences for members who do not follow both the word and the spirit of the rules (and should it come into being, the honour code). First offences should be moderate (as they have been), but repeat offenders should find themselves dawghoused for weeks and perhaps even months if needs be. This would allow the Editor in Chief to avoid using the ultimate sanction of locking-out members unless a truly serious offences is committed.
