The poll is neutral. It is offered as a means of closure for those who desire to participate. No attempt has been made to "promote" the poll to generate website hits - no headline on the homepage, no graphics, just a small text link. [Why, Editor? Why do you feel it necessary to constantly bring this issue up? Your excuse about us having our day in court is weak at best.] First, because I thought it was the fair thing to do. Timberhick obviously felt that the previous poll wasn't resolving a key issue, or he wouldn't have posed the question. Second, I thought there would be some interest in the poll results, and that it would be educational for both sides to see if the general public felt "convinced" by either side. [So they get to slag Meiczyslaw courtesy of TMP? Come On! Not very smart!] I'm not clear how participating in a poll constitutes "slagging" of anyone. |

About a week ago, we have a lively discussion here, concerning an incident at the San Diego Comic Con. We heard two accounts of what transpired - one from Meiczyslaw (which you can read starting here), and one from PPSMatt (which you can read here). In the subsequent discussion, reader Timberhick asked: Let's put it in a courtroom setting and look at just the facts as written by Meiczyslaw and PPSMatt. Who would you believe if you were on the jury? So - whose account do you believe is most truthful? |
