I hav eto support Freyburg – He's a countryman of mine, I used to pass by his statue frequently when I lived in Auckland, and I loved his response to British officers who complained that Kiwi soldiers didn't snap to attention when they went past; "Oh, they're friendly enough" he responded, " I expect if you wave at them, they'll wave back"
