I use "picture" dice as long as the picture's on the one-face (no exceptions) – all my six-sided dice have spots, so as to tell the d3's apart easily – and my d4's are now the Roman numeral "d12" style, so they roll properly. As for those "Picture" dice I've gradually phased them out as their pictures only come up to remind me of failure… Maybe they'll be handy for ASL where the players WANT to roll 1's |

Doctor Bedlam says... I do not like six-sided dice that use weird symbols. FUDGE dice - as well as the dice used for DOOM, Descent and Battlelore - irritate me to no end. This being said, I really like DOOM, Descent and BattleLore. I just wish they didn't use weird symbol dice, so I could go out and buy another set when the faces wear off from overuse... Do dice with weird symbols bother you? |
