Slumps for me are usually due to painting too much of the same figure or work. The work related slumps tend to be much longer.

POLL DESCRIPTION

unknown member wonders:

I've read with interest several posts talking about a 'painting slump'. Does overpainting - spending too much time on a figure, obsessing about getting it "just right" - contribute to painting slump feelings?
