POLL: Favorite Spaceship for Adventuring? (Tie-Breaker Round)

Seattle, I'd have said it also shows how much Star Trek gets by on volume and religious fervor. No other Size Humongous vessel--hardly any other military vessel--even got mentioned. The runners-up in the previous poll--the Millenium Falcon and the Traveller Type S--are much closer to the Serenity Pass. The Paramount Industrial complex is pulling ahead based on what about to second-place votes.

Only one piece of military/bureaucratic hardware was ever on the list--no Galactica, no Andromeda Ascendant--and while I specified the original Enterprise, I doubt very much anyone paid attention. Note in particular there were no nominations for the regrettable Picard version, and you yourself lumped in every season of every show, and every movie--though no books at all. (Trust me: there are certainly Star Trek novels out there substantially better than run of the mill episodes and films--even of the three seasons and two films using the real Enterprise.)

The depressing thing was the decline of reading. One RPG entry, and it beat out every piece of written SF ever--while still not qualifying for the final round. I don't think I'll trouble TMP over a book again.
