Have you been encouraged to spend more on our hobby than you would if the economy was better?

Being too scared to spend large amounts on trips or big $ items, I have instead started spending smaller amounts on miniature-related stuff. It so happens that in doing so, I have actually spent more than I ever have before (at least $1,000 USD since July). These are smaller, more controlled purchases, without feeling that I've spent too much.

I have also spent more on items that I never usually would buy, like sculpting tools, Black Library Books, specialty tools and paints, a new airbrush setup, etc., etc.

I am loving it and haven't had this much fun with the hobby in years.

Are you spending more on the hobby lately?
