Hmm. I crossed out all classes, and picked only individual named ships, whose crew and history I knew. I notice that even though the poll seems to have been video only, the descendants of The Rolling Stone and The Profitable Venture--Heinlein and James H. Schmitz respectively--are doing well. Serenity and the Millennium Falcon both fall into that same category of smallish, lightly-armed civilian vessels with a mixed cargo of dangerous and contraband merchandise and passengers who haven't told you the whole truth. From a story-telling standpoint, there's a lot to be said for such vessels.
