If I don't get a physical product, my minds sees it as basically buying air and considers it useless. It's just me, but I think I've regretted every single PDF I purchased. Even after I printed them out, my mind says I started by buying air, so I no longer buy them.

Just checked my shelf and the only PDF I kept is Fast And Dirty (which was free but excellent), and I may as well delete my download file for all the use I've got out of them. Count me out unless you have a physical product.

A hard-copy ruleset can be resold easily on eBay if you don't like the rules, but PDFs are usually non-transferable. It's happened to me at times that the money I saved by buying rules (or supplements, adventures, etc.) in PDF is really money wasted because I don't like what I've purchased and it cannot be returned. How often has this happened to you?
