For a scenario, I'm good with whatever the designer deems necessary. For a full game, I want really detailed designer's notes.

I got some feedback on our Octopi Wall Street adventure from two different people that I had made a mistake in the victory points section of one of the scenarios. Certainly isn't beyond reason (or likelihood), but it wasn't the case.

The issue was the cultist side was earning (a few) victory points for cultists being arrested. Cultists being arrested would intuitively make sense to be a loss of points for the cultists or a gain for the other side, but that was not the intent.

Within the milieu, there is a logic to cultists being willing to take one for the team (especially to take heat off the leader) and relishing a chance to recruit in prison. Within the scenario, this makes for some dramatic tension. Arrest is one way to deal with cultists, but not the preferred way to deal with all of them. Arrest too many, and there might be enough points to tip the balance in the cult's favor (but nowhere near enough for the cultists to just surrender en masse).

So, would you want an explanation about the intent and how things played out in playtest for all the scenarios?… maybe just for things that seem 'quirky'? Is the above bit enough to make sense of it? Is a whole page of that type of material too much (or five? I could probably do five on that specific scenario)?
