From a cost and efficacy point of view I think the Ghurkas a pretty good value for money – plus allow some operational options that are allow a certain amount of flexibility

So I would say they are worth keeping – much like the French have retained the Legion Etranger

Should the British army retain its various Gurkha units (known collectively as the 'Brigade of Gurkhas')? Their numbers have dwindled because of budget cuts from 13,000 in 1994 to just over 3,000 in 2016.
