A significant problem with the pre-discusssion of this topic is that the person planning to run the campaign didn't specify what level of command they wanted for the land campaign. A platoon vs battalion vs divsion level commands may all be good rules in general but not useful for the campaign. If a platoon level system works, Chain of Command with it's recent Far East supplement to provide additional support in the Pacific would be my choice. The Saipan 1944 psc campaign could provide lot more ideas and some ideas for how to adopt CoC to a more general campaign.

I am looking for a rulesystem to regame the War in the Pacific. I am quite familiar with FoW V1 and 2, but I dislike V4. Would Battlegroup be a fitting alternative?

I want to do those land battles as a part of a campaign, where the strategic level is played with the boardgame Orange Swan, naval battles would be played with Naval Thunder, and the rule system for land battles is the topic of this thread. Are there any other 15mm systems that comes to mind?
