AVP is about the only mix I could live with as I like the single universe concept as a whole.

Having read a fair amount of cross over fan fiction I have yet to find any that works. Even Star Trek keeps the versions apart where possible (even though Trials and Tribble-ations was a bit close to the bone).

I see no reason, since it's all fiction anyway, why Obi-Wan, Anakim and Ashoka shouldn't regularly kick Dalek butt (for example).
