I am curious about how often TMP'ers buy new rules for their favorite periods/genres.

Poll set up by Personal logo Editor in Chief Bill The Editor of TMP Fezian, based on this pre-poll discussion.

I never buy new rules
I've been using the same rules for the same period(s)/genre(s) since I started back in the day.
I don't buy rules any more
I've changed rules a couple of times, but then I stopped I'd rather spend my hobby money on miniatures!
I buy new rules often
As often as the new sets interest me I own 3+ sets for the same period(s)/genre(s).
I buy the latest rules
I buy the latest set of rules it's an addiction, I tell ya'! I gotta have 'em all. If they cover my favorite period(s)/genre(s), I gotta have 'em!
I buy rules from my favorite publishers or designers.
I buy rules sets from companies/authors I like. I do it regardless of whether I want/need another set of rules I do it to support the makers.
I buy the latest tournament rulesets
I buy the latest rules set because I am a tournament gamer, and I need to keep up with the tournament crowds, in order to compete.
I buy the latest rules to stay current
I buy the latest rules sets to keep up with the current crowd. For example, I bought 5e D&D because it is what is current. This allows me to be able to mix with the current gaming crowd rules are not important, being relevant, is.
I buy as many as I can
I'm a collector of rules. I buy as many as I can, to own a copy of everything published for my favorite period(s)/genre(s).
