"I won't be wronged, I won't be cheated and I won't be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to others and I require the same from them." -- John Wayne as John Books, "The Shootist" Or, to put it another way, "The other guy's freedom ends where my nose begins," and "Mind your own business and keep your hands to yourself." It all boils down to the "Golden Rule", doesn't it? I make certain concessions to living in a society, and I don't need control over others' lives at all, but I dislike (extremely) anyone else presuming to tell me how to live. |

Based on the reoccurring threads around here from people who want to remake TMP to their wishes, how much do you need to be in control? On a scale of 1 to 10, with one being you have fallen asleep in a New Orleans cemetery at night because you were sleepy, and ten being you can't understand how the TV character Monk can be so sloppy (extreme OCD), where do you fall? |
