One of the best things I like about QILS is no super unstoppable death machines. You can make odds for one side as unlikely as you want, but never absolute.

One fave event of mine was I had a SUDM unit facing an isolated underpowered unit (a singleton from a swarm that I maneuvered into a disadvantageous position). DOM hadthe short end of the stick, with about a 16:1 force power disadvantage (as much as you can estimate such a thing). She wiped my guy up. I had to replan. After the game, I calculated the odds of the three event engagement coming out the way it did (three misses for me, three hits for her). They were ~50K:1. But not zero, so … well 50K:1 things happen. To me, apparently. :)
