The Beast Rabban muses...

Some of you like them, some don't. Some are much better than others. I figure most all wargamers have at least a few on their favorite periods.

So, counting all the many categories, including compilation hardbacks, roughly how many do you currently own?

I have had tendencies to pick them up on a whim; when a period piqued my interest, when a new one was released, or when Angus did the plates (he is missed!). I have loads of I bought when I discovered Flintloque, and wanted to know what colors Napoleonic uniforms were (besides the obvious French and British unis), as I knew virtually nothing of the period. So, now in addition to knowing how I might choose to paint a bipedal dog's facings and turnbacks, I know a great deal more of a fascinating period . All this has given me a collection of, lets see... 87! Damn, I hadn't counted since about 30. I did pick up close to 20 ridiculously cheap from a game store closeout about ten years back. And yes, I do have lots of books with no pictures at all!
