I have some figures at teh local store I donated to a display with instructions in front of each for a step by step tabletop painting progression guide. I lost a ton of very nicely painted up 1/35 Tamiya WWII stuff I lent to a plastic model hobby store in Oceanside back in the 1980's and NEVER got them back (the store folded while I was on deployment.) There are about twenty 1/72 scale USMC aircraft models I did on display at NAS Meridian, Mississippi – but those do not count They gave me a budget to buy them and the supplies to build them specifically for display. |

Pat Ripley writes: I've just volunteered some of my troops for a display at a local toy store, where they are just getting into miniatures (only GW at this stage) - although they have ranges of plastic figures. I'm curious how other people feel about letting their figures out of their sight for the benefit of the "Hobby." |
