Hard to have an opinion on this … the uninteresting battles are the made up wargame ones because in the end the outcome doesn't matter and nobody cares.

As for big deadly battles that you, as a wargamer, don't care about? Well, I realise it's a bit of TMP bait and I'm sure most wargamers wouldn't buy into it.

POLL DESCRIPTION

Winston Smith Supporting Member of TMP says...

Rules are simple. The battle must have "killed" a lot of people and is "famous" yet you have absolutely no interest in finding out anything about it.

To me, there are tons of Napoleonic battles that do not interest me in the least. I suppose Waterloo is kind of interesting. I guess Austerlitz is important.

But for me the winner is Aspern Essling. Did I spell it right? Do I care?

I have heard of it, but I don't even know who fought in it or when. French, right?

So that's my nominee.

If you want to play nominate, some bloody battle you have no plans to know anything about. Any period.
