I must say, I'm rather suprised by your response. I have asthma. When I am around someone smoking for any length of time I can almost guarantee that I will be in the hospital. I simply cannot get the air into my lungs.

If you want to know what it feels like, have someone in the 300lbs range sit on your chest. Then try to get a good breath in….

"For those "allergic" to cigarette smoke; do you break out in a rash and your throat swell so you can't breath and would die without immediate medical help, the same as someone being allergic to shellfish eating a shrimp? Would you have the same allergic reaction if you ate a cigarette, or is it just the smoke? I never hear anyone being allergic to cigar or pipe smoke, so those are o.k., right? If it is the smoke part that causes the problems does a BBQ put you into a coma?"
