With so many miniatures out there based on WRG publications that have been superseded by more recent archeological discoveries (or in at least one instance were based on bad research), I use what I have.

I will even buy figures from older lines that haven't been remastered to fit the latest ideas of what particular troops equipment looked like.

On the other hand, I have painted (and repainted) some LIR legionaries in leather with a metallic paint to represent mail.

POLL DESCRIPTION
Imagine that you've just acquired a new Ancients army. On further inspection, you find that the figures were designed based on outmoded ideas about ancient armies ideas which are no longer considered to be accurate. (Wrong uniforms, equipment from the wrong period, or other visible mistakes.) Would you still use the figures on the wargaming table?
