While I have played many games which use D6's I do like using other dice (D10, D12 & D20) for the same reasons as McKinstry. The larger range of results means that more things can happen and you do not need rules like you do in GW games where you need to state that all 1's rolled do mean you failed your armor save. |

I've recently realized that I tend to look down on games that solely use d6, without knowing anything about them. I believe this is a combination of my association of d6 with the "kiddie" games of my youth, and the strong anti-Warhammer sentiment that has rubbed off on me over time. Are you a "snob" towards games that solely use the d6? |
