I'm not a FOWer, but I love BF because they make the best 15mm models and figures. I've been dabbling in 15mm WW2 since the early 90s. When BF first hit the market they were just OK. However, they have been steadily re-issuing their figures and models and the quaility just keeps improving.

I play Kampfgruppe Commander and almost all of my figures are BF.

On 14 March 2006, Battlefront announced their future plans for the next several years, including:

  • new Eastern Front and North Africa theatre books for Mid-War
  • second-edition Flames of War rulebooks
  • free 2nd edition rules updates for current players
  • moving into Late War WWII
  • bringing out the first airplane models
  • Battlefield in a Box terrain sets
  • first Early War support coming in 2007
  • new historical period for FoW coming in 2007

Based on this news, do you believe Flames of War is moving in the right direction?
