For the same reasons as nazrat I paint and do a wash on the the bottom of my tanks regardless of scale. And no I do not paint the interiors unless it is a 40K Land Raider with all the wonderful interior detail to paint. Why? Because I know it is there.

In 15mm scale, do you paint the bottoms of your tanks?

yes - detailed

Yes, I detail the bottoms of my 15mm scale vehicles.

yes - shaded

I use a wash or similar technique to make the underside of the vehicle look darker.

yes - primary color only

I paint the bottom in the same color as the rest of the vehicle.

yes - primer only

I just leave the primer coat on the bottom.

yes - black only

I paint the underside black.
