It is a real shame if the moulds cannot be recycled to another manufacturer.
Confron and Ragnarok (and possibly AotR) were good systems with an interesting background supported by wonderful figures. Should have been a recipie for success.

I agree Jean Bey deserved what he got having had dealings with him on the main forums and CORD (UK and Spain) venues. Also the way they treated the smaller grass roots shops and dealers was awful.
But I also feel that some of the "plastic figures over my dead body" crowd bear a responsibility for the new game not picking up the way that AT43 did.
Some of the comments from long time Confrontation players at my FLGS to potential buyers about the v4 game and the plastic figures were distorted and vindictive (eventually led to a couple of them being banned from the shop).

Real shame to see it gone.

Picking up on the confirmation that Rackham has gone into liquidation and this TMP thread, a question about Confrontation: What proportion of original Confrontation players actually tried the new version?

Did you try playing Version 4 (the mass-battle version), either with the plastics or with the old metal sculpts?
