Aside from bitching about the whole poll issue…. I play quite a few RFCM games..mostly AK47, MOCB, and Hammerin Iron. Some are gridded…some aren't. I've played a couple of PBI games and was impressed by the grid system although I had expected to really dislike it. I've also got a copy of Bayonet & Ideology [although I tend to use IABSM's Spanish Civil War version or Blitzkrieg Commander for this period]which seemed to work well on its one outing. I think there's room for both and it isn't a huge effort to convert to gridded from non-gridded or vice versa if you really want to. |
