PoetUnbound | Vote for me if you want to see the Simians done in a realistic style. Shading, highlighting and a flat finish so that your eye can see what is really on the figure. It will be fun to try and capture the look of purple cloth that has been out in the field for a while. I like to accent the details on the figures, so the closer you look, the more you can see. Teeth, fingernails, and the shield work will look clear and eye-catching when finished. The Simians look like they'd be fun to paint. Purple, silver, bronze and black. What could be more fun that this?

paynetoor | I paint for a living as a commercial painter, it's been 28yrs. now...my how the pigments have flowed...and after providing for my family, I find myself volunteering as a "color coordinator" for the little lead people thingys. I enjoy many, many evenings and weekend hours exercising a fertile imagination in the arena of analogous, direct, split, and triadic harmonies. My miniature painter's goal is to paint the figure in such away that it looks like it could walk, fly, swim, hop etc. right off my office table. Any Simian Empire legionnaire which visits my paint shop will leave fully prepared to "rip some gut!"
