I have a bunch of the old Eldar metals. They are nice figures, easily as good as the new plastics. However the old Harlequins, while nice, aren't as good as the new ones. It is more of a question of the posing than the actual sculpting. The old ones were cast to be one piece and for that they look good. But the new ones didn't worry about that and tried to get dynamic miniatures that look like they are jumping and dancing around all over the place.
