Well, it removed several Union armies from the Valley and allowed Jackson to leave the area and move to Richmond with his army.

I'm surprised Chancellorsville isn't listed. Lee had part of his army under Longstreet trying to retake Suffolk. He was outnumbered, badly. On top of that Hooker got the jump on him and crossed the Rappahannock. In response, Lee divided his army into three parts, attacked, and beat Hooker back. It should be high on the list.
