POLL DESCRIPTION

I wasn't sure I wanted to run this poll - given that the subject tends to stir people up - but the topic keeps coming up on the Message Boards, so might as well get it over with...

Which of the following best matches your attitude on a possible U.S.-led invasion with the intent to disarm Iraq?

finish War on Terrorism first

It's a mistake to initiate war with Iraq when al Qaeda and bin Laden are still at large.

need proof of violations

A pre-emptive invasion of Iraq is not justified without proof of the existence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. I don't think there is sufficient proof yet.

North Korea first

The world should focus first on North Korea and their nuclear build-up - they are the real danger at the moment.

war is immoral

War is evil. I am opposed to all wars, even so-called "good" wars.

war won't solve the problem

War is not the means of solving this problem. I am opposed to war against Iraq.

go it alone if necessary

An invasion of Iraq is necessary, and should be undertaken even without United Nations' backing.

no opinion

Haven't made up my mind.

need U.N. backing

An invasion of Iraq is justified only if the United Nations approves such military action.

continue inspections

U.N. weapons inspections should be given more time.
