I use 54mm for Gladiator rules and 1/18th scale (is that 90mm? 120mm?) for WW2 skirmish. Everything else is 28mm or smaller.

CPBelt muses...

Do you use 40mm figures?

I have really ignored 40mm until I began looking at the Front Rank and S&S figures this morning. Wow! The AWI figures are great. Plus I keep thinking that if my 28mm figures were just a bit larger, I could do so much better paint work.

Compared the price of 28mm figures from many companies, Old Glory aside, 40mm figures actually are cheaper or relatively inexpensive - I never would have thought that.

I assume that 40mm doesn't take up all that much more space than 28mm? I thought 40mm would be great for skirmish, but it seems more is available in traditional marching/standing poses than 'action' poses.
