I think the rules are easy enough to get to grips with but the layout of the books hampers this. Too much time must be spent back and forth through the rules when you start due to the lack of flow to the rule book. I like the rules but I soldiered through the initial couple of games and now have a pretty good command of the rules and refer to the book infrequently. That said it is still a chew to find things even now, maybe 70 games into playing it. I am thinking I might mark particular sections with tabs so I can find them more easily. I have voted easy but would add the layout caveat. |
