Generally speaking I prefer metal as I hate the assembly of plastic figures and I paint so slow that the cost savings from plastic are pretty much mute. That said I do use plastics here and there and will continue to do so in the future, but metal will remain my preference in most cases. I just like the weight and feel of metal figures and I don't see this changing.

POLL DESCRIPTION

wrgmr1 observes...

We've had various manufacturers producing plastics for awhile now. I'm talking 28mm figures: Perry, Victrix and Warlord.

I'm firmly in the camp of, "I really don't like the lack of detail in plastics and they don't suit my painting style. however, they are priced within my budget."

I'm suggesting a poll to see who likes plastics and who prefers metal figures. With variations of preference.
