I do on the majority of 28mm figures I paint – the only exceptions are those figures where helmets obscure too much like GW Elven or Dark Elf Warriors, Ancients in full-helmed glory, etc. Unless there is decent enough room, I take a pass at those as just too difficult, and am not ashamed to admit it. |

Nom de Guerre wonders: Bone of contention between me and a gaming buddy – he of the opinion that 28mm figs must have painted eyes. My take is unless you can get them exactly right (i.e. small and symmetrical), they will look rubbish and goggle/cross-eyed. How big is the visible part of an eye at 1/60th anyway?! |
