I don't think so. I had to hack it quite severely to get the effects I expect just for 1870 (primarily changing the turn order to shoot-move rather than move-shoot, with reduced command if you choose to fire). With even more firepower on the table even an outnumbered defender ought to be able to easily stop a frontal attack. I'm not sure BP could represent that.

Since the release of BP, we have seen its relatives Hail Caesar and Pike & Shotte cover virtually all land warfare types from Chariots up through Colonials. What I ask you is, can another (not too radical) variant of BP be made to cover the early maneuver warfare period of both fronts during 1914?
