In my World War Two world, one figure is one man (or woman). One tank is a tank, and I don't mean skirmish wargames.
A section is 9 or more figures, depending upon nationality
A platoon is around 30 figures
A company is around 100 figures.

So far, in 20mm, I can put around a battalion of infantry onto the field.

As I say, this is my world, yours may be different.

When building a company of troops for a WWII game, how many infantry figures do you like to have on the table? This question assumes that the game uses some sort of group-stands (teams, squads, platoons) and not a 1-to-1 skirmish game, obviously.
