The poll question is phrased in such a way that I would say "yes" even though I really like miniatures. Indeed, were I getting into a ruleset or game type these days I would never buy minis for it without playing a game or four first. As it is I use generic/constructor systems for my current minis, but I only own scifi skirmish so it's pretty easy to proxy and mess with stats, etc. |

Imagine that your wargaming buddy wants to try a new period, but neither of you have appropriate figures. He suggests using two-dimensional color cardboard counters, printed using art he found on the internet. Would you use counters when playing a miniatures game? |
