"We the People…" eliminates our opportunity to avoid responsibility – or credit – for removing despots and scumbags from power.
America' "illustrious leaders" don't traipse us off to war; we freely elect representatives and executives who will deal with punks in exactly the way we want them to: harshly.
It's a simple formula, really, borne out historically time and time again: If a nation doesn't want the United States to remove its leaders and impose a responsible government on it, then it's best if that nation not ambush our fleets in port, fly hijacked planes into our skyscrapers or otherwise start a fight with us that WE are going to finish.
Come on, anybody who thinks we're a pushover should read a book about our Civil War: Four years of slaughtering each other and neither side would quit…
