Italian history in general is neglected in most countries – you would think Italy's history ended with the Fall of the Western Roman Empire. Plus the Italian military does not exactly have the best reputation in 20th century conflicts, very unfair as the solid Italian soldiers had the bad luck to have poor leadership and second rate gear
