unknown member wonders...

Which would you rather see in a new miniatures company: Multiple poses, or a variety of troop types?

As an example, suppose a new manufacturer with a talented sculptor was coming out with a new line of AWI Hessians. Would you rather see - a first release of twelve poses of musketeers, followed a month or three later by fusiliers, then a few months later by grenadiers, but no jaegers...

Or would you rather see one or two poses of each type immediately?

I come from the Old Days, when Hinchliffe had one pose of Prussians of each type. And we were glad to have them, too! To me, one pose encapsulates what Hessians (or Prussians) should look like. I dislike seeing a stand with all the heads looking in different directions, or even worse, loading, firing, and pointing. If I could order them separately... but I can't. I have to buy six different poses in a blister.

I would rather have a complete range ASAP. If they want to go back later and fill in gaps with varying poses later, well, fine.

But, it kind of annoys me to see 24 different poses of Highlanders, and have to wait years for the particular unit you are pining for to show up, if it ever does.
