Tom Bryant writes:

The QC part shouldn't/i) please note that, shouldn't be all that difficult if the manufacturers aren't afraid of a little book keeping and inspection of their product from time to time. The problem is it takes effort to do this even with such simple measures as looking at a sample from each spin or three of a mold and compare it to a "sample" board of an acceptable level of flash and mold lines, then start a process to fix the problem, make new molds, change alloys, etc. to improve product and STAY WITH IT! Do that and the price doesn't have to go up.

POLL DESCRIPTION

Personal logo jeffreyw3 Supporting Member of TMP asks:

After spending the better part of the morning cleaning up six figures, I would definitely be willing to pay the cost to have someone check each casting, redo old molds, etc... whatever it takes to minimize the time I spend before priming. Anyone else?

Poll set up by Personal logo Editor in Chief Bill The Editor of TMP Fezian, based on this pre-poll discussion.
