The key with sure fire losers, such as any Frenchies having to face the British, is to set victory conditions for the losing side, so they can actually win if they hold on for x number of turns, or case y amount of casualties, etc. Thats what I plan to do for Salamanca 1812-2012, anyway…

For me, Quatre Bras. It has the invincible British. The battle includes woods, hills, urban areas and rivers. It involves significant but not unwieldy numbers from all arms. It has possibilities concerning reinforcements and off-table maneuvering. A fine battle to fight.
